I’ve sold my home and move in 4 weeks In inspecting around the house I’ve noticed small tufts of insulation falling to the ground on a fairly regular basis I cannot notice aby obvious source though the obvious place to look would be the roof Having inspected the internal walls and loft there’s no sign of penetrating damp to the interior The exterior wall of the house has faced the brunt of the bad weather but there’s no obvious mortar failure or gaps in the brickwork
There’s cavity wall insulation in the home
I had a new boiler installed 12 months prior which went through the loft but all appears secure with that
Interested to know what people think may be the cause
