Picture this, tight gap left in kitchen for chest freezer, unit has been installed for a couple of weeks since the re-fit, close to the lightswitch but no problems.
Out goes the freezer and in come the floor layers with their levelling compound, back in goes the freezer.
Only problem now is, as the floor is now level, when you open the freezer the lightswitch flicks off, when you close the lid, the lightswitch flicks back on again.

The old lady who's flat it is was standing nearby and didn't see the funny side of it though.
