Hi.
I'm fitting some 15mm compression isolators to JG Speedfit plastic pipe. Why compression and not speedfit fittings? No idea, seems "better".... Feel free to laugh and call me names. And put me right....

I need the TSM15NP inserts for compression fittings. Fair enough.

But I understand I need copper olives rather than brass. My fittings have brass olives so I need to go get some 15mm copper olives. The question is - are these universal? For example can I use a copper olive from Pegler with a compression fitting from Flowflex? Are these olives interchangeable from manufacturer to manufacturer?

And where do I get them from? Screwfix and B&Q don't do them - are they readily available from a plumbers' merchant?

Thanks,
Andy.

Thanks for the quick reply.
But are the olives interchangeable? Some have a curved profile wheras some are chamfered. Are they the same width?
Will the joint be ok with a compression fitting from one manufacturer when used with an olive from another?

Thanks,
Andy.
