try changing the plugs first, start off with easiest things but its difficult to diagnose things like this over the net

Best place to start is the crankshaft sensor as its relatively cheap at around £40 and a common problem on corsa's.
It provides the swithching signal to the ECU i.e. if the ECU doesent realise the engine's turning over it wont open the injector or spark the plug! Your car is about the right age for this problem to start as the magnet inside the sensor becomes weak, is usually worse if the car is still warm and when stone cold will start every time.
although i give no garuntees try it it could save you a very expensive garage bill as most mechanics don't come across this often. ;)

thanks mate ive heard of this problem somewere else and definately woth looking into but the intermittant starting can be when its hot or cold, also some one said about the key fob sensor? as in if its sensing the correct key in the ignition barrel-but thanks for the responses guys
