Internal Leak Sealer for Central Heating

I just installed a Gloworm Flexicom 30cx. It's a wonderful machine, but it the heating system pressure drops and needs topping up every week or so. I suspect there is a small leak and am planning to use Wickes Internal Leak Sealer to seal the little bugger. Better that than taking up my floor and digging around.

Is this Internal Leak Sealer safe and will it damage the condensing combi?

When the systems cold isolate the boiler flow and return and check the pressure overnight to see if the leaks on the system or the boiler.

Was the previous system pressurised or is it a new system.

Leaks are commonly found on cheap radiator valves - check the spindles.

Topping up once a week is not a small leak - a quality installed system (with quality radiator valves) only needs topping up once a year.

Wouldn't use Wickes - who knows what it's likely to do - if you must use a leak sealer try Fernox F4.
