We may possibly have a leak underground in our central heating system (trying to find the cause of drop in pressure of our new condensing boiler - see my other post). Any thoughts on or problems with using fernox leak sealer to fix the problem?

Apparently they can clog up heat exchangers and eventually cause a blockage. I have never used it but powerflushed a system which the client has used a leak sealer 3 weeks before and had a total blockage.
Hopefully other guys here who have used it can provide more advice. I would say try and replace the pipe section that is leaking if you can.
There maybe a way of adding the sealer with the boiler primaries turmed off.
