I have a single story pitched roof living room with vaulted ceiling, built approx 15 yrs ago by WAIN homes, photos in my album. The room is extremely cold and I suspect that the insulation provided between the ceiling plasterboard and roof tiles in insufficient. As the room has not been decorated for a number of years I can just make out where the roof joists are positioned, to allow easy overlay of extra timbers. What product would you recommend to fit before overboarding and skimming again, and how should it be fitted? And should there be an air gap?
