Hello

I have an internal soil stack & am having a loft conversion
My question is can I dog-leg the stack at the 1st-floor level (above 1st-floor FFL where the bathroom is) to the outside of the building?
The loft conversion will have a bathroom directly above the 1st floor one & this would be connected to the SVP outside
I am concerned about rainwater running down the pipe & then into the house where the dog leg is, plus it's close to the wall and it might be difficult to install a dog leg
Or would it be better to move the whole thing outside?

Cheers

Don't know if this will help.

Air admittance valve inside an option?
I've got one fitted to my loft conversion however I'd rather have soil out the roof.
The valves rarely play up but outlaws one has so I replaced.

Building inspector you need to ask. They take an interest in soil stacks

I had forgotten about soil stacks (I think we called them stench pipes) as they do not appear to exist outside UK.
