Having repainted the outside walls and woodwork of my cottage, the black PVC gutter and downpipes now look a bit shabby by comparison. I was thinking of tarting them up a bit with a coat of International gutter paint. Does this stuff give a good finish or will they end up looking like a bit of badly painted plastic.

Don't know the stuff but I'd always go for a satin finish on pipework rather than gloss. Still looks smart and de-emphasises a multitude of faults - even those rare occasions when you miss a paint run
