I've got a problem where the underfloor heating that is in the kitchen that is it's own (wired) system automatically turns on the radiators in the rest of the house every time it comes on (manually or automatically).

To turn the radiators off again you have to go and shut the underfloor heating off too, it won't turn off when the underfloor is on.

The obvious answer to the issue is that the diverter valve is shot, but we can't even locate it (perhaps there isn't even one)?

Basically, does anybody have any alternative answers as to why this might be happening and what could be done?

Thanks.

What boiler is it?

Have you got a airing cupboard?

Does the underfloor heating come on when you get the radiators on?

Is there a underfloor heating control box with pump and manifold?

Daniel.
