hi all, im making a base for a new shed, it will be 8x6ft.
Its been suggested a tannilised timber frame filled with compacted MOT will be enough.
Thoughts?

Yes it will make a good base.

In an ideal world it wants compacting with a whacked plate to lock it all together.

drop some concrete lintels across the MOT and put the shed on those. It will never move. Timber direct on the ground will rot eventually.
