More accurate to call it a cluster house.

Planning permission for extensions on a house in a cluster ( of 4 ) may be difficult to obtain.

Also to sure to check the deeds for any covenants that would restrict/prohibit any alteration/extension even if planning permission was granted,

I'd never even heard of the term 'cluster house'

I checked the deeds and there are no restrictions (thankfully). Thanks for the tip
