Is it too cold to apply latex smoothing compound on garage floor?

Screeder wants to put down a latex smoothing compound on our garage floor on Friday, but the weather says -1C to 9C. The following few days show temperatures of 3C to 8C and then 0C to 9C.

Is this fine, or am I asking for trouble??

Garage is not insulated.

Be fine. As long as he uses a decent manufacturer. Ardex , Mapei , uzin , fball
