Hi guys

I have drained down my system, done some pipework, and installed a new radiator. When filling and flushing the system for a 2nd time, I noticed sludge in the new radiator. I am thinking of adding sentinel x400, fill up and leave it for a few weeks and then flush it. My question is does the x400 act as an inhibitor? or must I add the x100 too ?

Can give you the answer you are looking for, but you will be better to go on Sentinel Website and read the instruction for X400 and X100

No, X400 is a cleaner and must be throughly flushed out after use

The decent cleaners usually have a dash of inhibitor in so they dont corrode your rads whilst cleaning them.
But then again most of them are brownish liquids - so you'd never know if they were rusting your rads either. Sneaky huh?
