Hi I have re tiled bathroom wall that has a shower, I only noticed towards the end of the job how flexible the wall is. I don't want someone to lean on it and cause the tiles to flex and loosen.

I wonder if theres some way to reinforce it without removing the tiles?

Possibly injecting expanding foam?

Thanks

It does flex. Particularly the thinner 9.5mm stuff. Try boarding a ceiling and see how much the unsupported edge drops until it’s screwed in. Or pushing against a boarded ceiling/wall when the studs are too far apart.
Injecting foam isn’t likely to do much good, most likely cause of flex is insufficient fixings/stud spacing/unsupported edges.
Once tiled and grouted though, you may find it “flexes” less…

He has tiled it , it’s moving so either not supported but more likely damp from previous poor tiling .
