No, but thanks for asking. Is there a reason why it shouldn't be ? And what are the other two copper pipes ? One pointing down to the ground and one that seems to point back into the wall ? Thanks everyone for all your help.

Sorry if it isn't clear enough, I cropped the photo. The 90 degree bend on the fuel pipe just prior to going into the wall is a screwed joint, not soldered.

You could build a nice little storage cupboard over all the pipe to hide them and prevent them freezing.

I owe you all that much. Here is the Southern elevation.

The Northern elevation which is the front of the house with our oak porch. We are very pleased with this but the tannins are leaking out quite badly.

That is not the plan but yes, I would. It was a repo.
