Hello, we're first time buyers having the boiler replaced in our new home. Not really knowing what a good quote is, can anyone cast their opinion over this for us, please.

Old system is a back boiler with airing cupboard immersion tank. House is a single bathroom, 2-bed terrace.

So, quote includes...

Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30Si
Vertical flue through loft to roof
6 new radiators plus kick panel rad/fan unit in kitchen
Honeywell wireless thermostat
Powerflush
Chemical inhibitor
6yr parts and labour warranty on the boiler

Less trade-in (£200) and scrappage (£400) it comes to £3,200 inc.

Thanks!

please be advised without anyone looking at the job.any decent tradesman cant give a figure.youd proberbly have concerns if a company give you a figure over the phone, without looking at the job.so why expect the same on here.this is a forum for help on general pluming problems.and should not be used as a comparison site.get a few quotes then you can decide. if its a good price or not.

Stop asking stupid questions, get 2 other quotes from local installers for comparison to get the answer.

Far too low, offer the bloke a big (£2000 or so) bonus as he must be living in poverty.
