best one is the excuse from their training centre about why the gas valves stick.... in areas where there are lots of the old lead yarn jointed gas mains, the mains spraying operations apparently cause too much lubricant in the mains thats sticks the valve shut!!!! Funny I asked when at the course, I used to do the mains spraying for Transco and had no reports from any other manufacters nor did Honeywell ever whinge to my knowledge!
