A very convenient place is outside the bathroom, above the door. It is unlikely to be switched accidentally, is outside the zones, but is easily visible and accessible to anyone wanting to maintain the fan.

And if it is an inline fan, save yourself the trouble, and fit the switch adjacent to the fan in the loft....
