Last night where I work I brought in a spare lamp to go in one of the fridges in the kitchen. I did not know if it would be the same type of bulb-the one I brought in was out of an old fridge freezer I had.
Anyway, I removed the plug from the wall and unscrewed the old bulb in the fridge and guess what? part of the lampholder-the threaded bit came out on the bulb after I unscrewed it. It was a second hand fridge they had bought some time back and they were fine about this but me thinking it just goes to show what I said at the beginning.
