Hi All,

We have a Johnson & Starley Hi-Spec M31, Just before Xmas the water part of the boiler kept shutting its self off...... i narrowed this down to the pilot light.

I thought it could be dust or something so i turned it all off and cleaned it with some compressed air. This worked and it was working again but this only lasted a week or so.

Now the pilot light has an slightly orange flame (unsure if it was like that before) and wont stay lit.

Any help would be great.

thanks

-Tom

I thought that might be the case my local J&S engineers are closed until monday i will give them a call then.

thanks

J&S Gave me a couple of local engineers numbers, of of them confirmed over the phone that it was probably just a service issue.

And it was....... now showing without cold spots (bloody immersion heater)

£65 + vat :)
