Joint mesh for plastering (diy)

Hi,

I’ve got my little girls bedroom to re skim, I’ve already over boarded it and usually use a orange mesh tape which I’ve found great as it sticks well however our local
Place only had white mesh joint tape in but it just won’t stick would there be any issues to use a bit of diluted pva to stick it on with ?

If you got some joint compound use that instead.

No issues, but sounds like the roll you've got is dodgy
