Morning all,

I am new to this so sorry if I am in the wrong place...

I am renovating the top half of my house and I am at a point where I could do with some advice please. When we bought the house it was already extended (BADLY) and so when my builder has come in to rip out walls etc... he has left part of it for us to sort (as agreed). We are doing alot of it ourselves to save money, plus we like DIY and I was to know if anyone can advice if we can remove these joists/beams please? We basically want to make our bathroom tall and have it all open (besides the steel beam we have had put in).

I have attached some photos... let me know if anyone needs any more information.

Thanks in advance :)

p.s. I realise I have jumped from I to we... sorry.

You're in the wrong place. I've asked the mods to move it for you.
Also, your attachment downloads the photos to the requesting PC. Not a good practice 'cos it may contain viruses.
So anyone clicking on the link, beware it will download the photos to your PC.

I have amended now... adding photos rather than the zip file. I was trying to make my life easier. :)
