Joist holes for pipes

Hi,

I want to run two 3/4" pipes from a hot press in the landing (back of the house) to two radiators at the front of the house.

I understand the joist holes should be made between 0.25 and 0.4 of the joist span.

The joist spans differ along the route where the stairs are. How should I deal with this?.

I've attached a photo to better explain. Hot press is on the left.

You'd probably get away with notching the joists and run the 22mm (3/4") to the centre point of the hall and then spur off to each room in 15mm. That'll depend on where the supporting walls of the joists are of course.
