Just curious to know

information

I have a potty 100e boiler

for a shower I have thermostatic mixer (from screwfix, as the aqualisa gave up) but thats not the point

all works well

say i am having a shower and the water coming out is say 20 degrees

say mrs breezer has a shower at say 30 degrees

the temp figures i just made up for ease of question

question

Does the potty boiler heat the water to the same temp despite who is having a shower?

my thinking

its the mixer shower that decides how much cold water comes in so the boiler heats the water to the same temp

As I did say i am just curious, so it may be all wrong, i have no intention of doing anything to the boiler, i just wondered.

I will assume that its a Puma style combi.

That controls the output water temperature although not terribly fast if you alter the flow rate. Its designed for a flow rate of about 55°C.

The mixer shower takes the boiler hot water and mains cold water and mixes them in the proportion that gives you the desired outlet temperature which for most people is in the range 35-43°C.

Where that is not ideal is with your boiler as it takes a while to stabilise and its output temperature is somewhat dependent on the flow rate but the generallity is that the combination will give a reasonable control of the shower temperature.

Its usually best when the combi has a DHW temperature control knob if its turned as low as possible so the minimum of cold water is added.

.

Presuming you have a hot water cylinder then no. The boiler heats the water in the cylinder depending on whether you have a cylinder stat and what that stat is set to or the boiler cycles on the boiler stat if you don't meaning that the boiler will continue to try to heat the water in the cylinder to what the boiler stat is set to as long as you have the timer on and for as long as you draw hot water.
