Just had a virus pop up....

just got redirected from this page to "mega.viral.content.com" and a pop up saying to update software.

No option to close the box so closed safari and turned phone off

How does this happen

We don't allow pop up ads (because they are so annoying) so it is definitely something amiss.

Something odd with the site at the moment. I've had to disable Flash on my PC at the moment as this site keeps keeling Chrome over. Doesn’t happen anywhere else. And not the first time either.

Strange, how long are we talking, last couple of days/ week etc?

Two or three days. I put it down to a run of ads as it cleared itself last time after a week or two and nothing had changed on the computer.
