Using this lockdown time to research. 1930 house with patched sand cement render from waist height. We are intending to strip all the render and replace. It has a Dutch style roof with a pillar support on one corner and there is a crack above that area. We've had some exploration and the timber lintel is sound. The crack possibly movement in pillar support over the years. We've been advised that area be covered with stainless expamet mesh before render.
In light of that is K rend still a suitable option.?
