K11 Micra electric window fault

Could someone please help, have a K11 Micra with n/s window not working.
I have removed the panel and checked the connector plug , there are 12.4 volts on one wire when switched to up and the same on other wire when switched to down, but the window won't work.
If I take pos and neg from the baterry and connect one to each of the wires it works one way goes up and reversed down.
Am I right in thinking the neg is missing? what supplies it and where is it located, how does it reverse itself.

Not too sure on the setup, but it's probably in the switch itself. See if you can swap the switches over too see if that works.

Thanks for the help I tried the switch but as I said the positive was there, it was the negative that was missing. Finally found fault to be dodgy window locking switch (the one that stops passengers from opening the windows). fitted s/hand switch problem sorted.
