Hi after my earlier thread I am looking to replace 6 radiators in our home. Plumber has quoted £1300 including radiators and labour. Not sure if it's any good or not.. We are in north west London.

He has quoted kartell compact radiators. Which sets expensive compared to a standard store grand radiators.

I don't have a clue about radiator brands. Are these Kartrell branded ones any good. Are there any other decent alternatives?

I am after value for money rather than cheap ones so would appreciate some pointers... Ta

Here is the itemised quote. As the current radiators are very old they are metric size and hence pipework for all radiators needs adjusting with soldering to fit to nearest standard size in mm.

3 Compact Radiator K2 600*1300 £119.00 £357.00

1 Compact Radiator K2 600*800 £78.00 £78.00

1 Compact Radiator K2600*1000 £98.00 £98.00

1 Compact Radiator P+ 600'*1300· £108.00 eioaoo

7 Westherm TRV Twin Pack valves £16.00 £112.00

1 c/h inhibitor ·£12.00 £12.00

1 Labour Charges inc system check. £400.00 £400.00

Seems fair.
I Used to get kartell rads from one of my suppliers but they changed to cheaper ones. I remember them coming well packaged and never had a damaged one.
Price is good anyway.
