kerbing a tyre

I hit a brick in the road the other night,dented the wheel rim but tyre looks ok,only fitted last week.Would a visible check inside and out of the tyre show up any defects .

assuming the tyre was pinched between the rim and the brick

the truth is you cant tell what dammage is done without taking the tyre off

now i am no expert and assuming your only driving at low speed and the tire hasnt gone down you may be ok !!!!!!!! bbbbuuuuutttt
i would say you should have it checked for piece of mind
as i say i am no expert but for piece of mind

kerbing is of course a different mater as you know if the damage was just nicking the kerb with the rim your peed off but you know the cause and the obvious dammage
but hitting a brick in the road at what i can only assume was in excess of 10 miles an hour can only mean the dammage is unquantafiable
i will be a happy man if you check it out
