keyboard faults

Hi
Some of the keys on my keyboard print differently to the symbols shown on them. I have tried a different keyboard, but the fault persists.
Any suggestions will be welcome.

Check your settings, you have set the k/board for different country.

Think its in 'mycomputer', 'control panel', type keyboard in the help.

Spot on! It seems I was in the US version of english.
