I want to fit an intergrated dishwasher. This will require that I remove the kickboards without damging them (if possible).

I seem to remember some years ago seeing a kitchen fitter using a special tool for pulling out the kickboards. So far I have been unable to find one.

Can anyone tell me where I can get such a tool?

If it has clips around the legs then a good sucker will often do the job.

Thanks for the help. I now have the problem sorted.

Nice to know that this great resource is available.

I'm the sucker who has been detailed to do the job

I replaced the plinths in a house earlier this year where the hubby and "expert" friend had glued them in place with some form of epoxy. Getting them of the laminate flooring was not fun!

bike spokes are ideal if there is enough gap at the top to feed it through. then twist the spoke so that the head grips the back of the kick board then pull it to get them off. cost you 30p each from any good bike shop ;)
