Hi,

Cooking appliances for an upcoming kitchen refurb chosen, specs I can find from manufacturer (Hotpoint) as follows:

Induction Hob 32.2A / 7728kW
Single Oven 13A
Combi Microwave Oven 16A

(Note both of the Ovens do state they come with a UK plug which I thought was odd given the 16A of the Combi?)

My question though is - can these ALL be run from a single 32A radial circuit which I have confirmed is run in 6mm T&E ?

I've heard of diversity and done a calculation which gave me 28.36A so sounds like it could be ok, but is this the case?

Obviously if we need to get new circuits installed it'll bump up the costs so just trying to gauge the situation.

Thanks in advance

Can't both be right.

Yes.

Yes. It comes to 25.36A for 61.2A.

My stand alone cooker with induction hob says 220 - 240V - 50Hz, 10466 - 12455 Watt and still says 32 amp supply. What you must remember is the induction hob puts more power into the pan and less into the kitchen, so although my heat area says 3.7 kW you can only use that power to heat water, if there is any food in the pan it would burn it, so in the main each heat area (ring) averages out at less than 1 kW as over that it simply burns food. I bought a single induction ring for use in the caravan, it can go to 2 kW but in real terms never use it at over 1 kW.

Thanks, good to know.
How would be the best way to connect all 3 appliances (I’m not about to DIY it, just curious how it is likely to be done!) ?
All 3 off a junction box, hob via a isolation switch then some form of connection plate, ovens via fused spurs then either sockets or connection plates again?
