i have 2 fluo under cupboard lighting fixtures inoperative at the moment.
tried new bulb but still no joy.

any advice on how to check status of bulbs and integrity of fixtures using multi meter or light pen.

fixture is connected to the main circuit by way of 2 pin connector. fixture has its own on off switch but is usually controlled by switch on the wall.
info on the fixture states no serviceable parts would it be worthwhile just purhasing another couple of fixtures?

If you have a multimeter, and you can get the probe tips into the end of the plug on the supply cable without shorting it or giving yourself a shock, check to see if you've got voltage there...
