Hi all,

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong section - it is my first post on the forum and am learning my way around...!

I have just changed all of my kitchen doors. All, except for the cover of the extractor fan.

The cover tilts upwards, pivoting at the top, and is held on by 5 screws each side. The prob is I wouldn't be able to unscrew the top ones. I have tried taking the cover off but it is not immediately obvious how to do this.

Can anyone help?? Any ideas appreciated (I imagine it's a fairly simple problem...!)

Cheers,
Carl

carl - often these things have a couple of 'buttons' or 'clips' or 'catches' which retain the side panels (quadrant shaped). Generally, you have to release these locking buttons to allow for the removal of the cover. Remove the grease screen first, that's the part with the slots in it, 'cos sometimes the catches are behind this screen.
