Hey everyone,

I have a kitchen floor which has ceramic titles in with grout between them.

We wanted firstly to sort the flooring out which would be click LTV flooring.

Then sort the cupboards out.

The flooring an issue as I'm think I can't lay (or someone else)the LTV flooring cause of the ceramic tiles and the slight dip where the grout is.

Does that mean the flooring screeding first? And no other way round it?

just trying to get this project down with breaking the bank.

Any help or advice is welcome. The kitchen is around 15m2.

Cheers

Hi, i haven't got the gear to do all the self leveller and there so many gaps it's could run down. So would need to get someone in.

Meaning I would need someone to do that part.

Then get then get someone in to do the ltv flooring.

So trying not to double the cost cause I'm a tight b.... :)

You can use ardex feather finish or a45 rapid repair. Don’t can’t much and scratch the whole floor in it.

If you are changing the cupboards I would remove the kick panels and then sort the floor. Can you lay hardboard down to “level” the surface prior to LVT?

I dont know as I have never fitted LVT.

Primer and then 2 coat screed over the ceramics to level.

Personally I would'nt fit click LVT, you'll get a better finish and less troublesome floor with a glue down LVT instead.
