Hi there
I’m looking to fit some dusting for a new kitchen hood. We don’t currently have the hood yet and as the ceiling is down in the kitchen I’d like to get the ducting up ready.
The hood is on the opposite wall to the external so will extract through ducting in the ceiling. The distance across the ceiling is 2.5 metres which has got me concerned that if I buy one of the kits with the flexible hosing, the hose is only ever 3m which doesn’t seem much to drop down and connect onto the hood. I’ve looked at rigid but with so many sizes I think I’ve got myself all confused.. could you just offer some help as to if I were to get rigid how do the sizes work and when it comes to connecting to the fan (which I believe is a circular 150mm vent) what do I do..?? I’m utterly confused.. thanks as always.
