We live in a bungalow and our kitchen sink is below our kitchen window looking out over are rear garden. We have some building alterations to carry out and would like to take the kitchen window out and put in french doors. The problem we have is that the external drain where the kitchen sink waste drains into will be in the way of the new french doors. If we relocate the sink I can get the waste pipe to flow into the external bathroom drain as the bathroom is next door to the kitchen.

Is this feasible/acceptable?

Just remember to terminate the pipe Under the grating but Above the water in the gulley ;) Nothing worse than a sink waste leaving debris on top of the grating
