Hi,
I’ve fixed one bathroom tap by removing the handle but had trouble doing so on a couple of others.
I gave up on one and replaced the entire faucet, but I would like to salvage the kitchen faucet if possible.
I’ve been able to remove the nut within the tap handle, but the handle is still firmly attached to the base. I’ve tried lever it by twisting a screw driver in the gap and getting good traction, but it doesn’t seem to want to budge.
Any suggestions?

Try some Wd-40, crack it spray or just pour some boiling water on it and allow to cool.

I tried this and used the screw driver more aggressively to get it off, finally did after so time. Now the shroud is stuck… considering just replacing the whole thing but I’ll have another attempt tomorrow before caving
