im finding I have a problem with a worktop joint in the kitchen.

There is a small gap of only about 1mm at the widest, but it's been enough to let some water in and raise each side of the worktop.

After drying out has gone down pretty much flat but I was wondering best way to fix so it doesn't happen again.

I bought some Colorfill in oak, but not used before.
Thought a smear of silicon sealant may show too much.
Also had beeswax recommended to rub in.

Help appreciated, don't want to mess it up.

colorfil is probably your best bet but it doesn't always take the best as a surface filler. that's a bit strange that the joint is fine at the radius and the corner but not in the middle. You could try scraping a bit of the filling out a bit to give you a deeper fill with the colorfil
