Kitchen worktops

Hi Folks recently moved into a very tired 60s bungalow need to replace kitchen but too much else to do first rather than replace the worktops which are the worst part can i paint them and with which product was thinking by the videos zinsser bin first but what top coat anything sort of grey or black would be fine they only need to last about a year would something like rustoleum multi paint be ok or do i need a sort of 3 part kit any advice appreciated

Worktops lead a hard life. I can't see any paint having a long life as a worktop finish

I'd cover a tatty worktop with a sheet of Conti-Board; cast you about the same as painting it and in my book considerably safer.
