Hi
Have an issue in that the flow to the distributor cap/cone at the top of my Klargester unit keeps getting blocked - more specifically the pipe at the base of the cap/cone gets blocked- it is a little tricky to clear the blockage out with the cap on. does the cap just pull off and push on?

Sorry my first post wasnt too helpful!

Unit is a Titan P61PS (or as described on origianl service contract Biotec P006-1PS 1.0)

I can post a couple of photos tomorrow when daylight if that would help?
Thanks

Photo's always help. Been a while since I've seen inside one so trying to remember what was there. Thinking it shouldn't block in normal operation, so wondering if there is an underlying cause.

Morning
Photo of cone attached. I did get the guy who services it round a couple of weeks ago who cleaned out the unit to get it going again - he did say there were a couple of fat balls which he removed but it has blocked up a couple of times since then but dont reaaly wan
t to pay another call out fee if i can avoid it! Hence thinking if i can get the cone off easliy it should be easier to clean out the pipe below it.
Thanks

When was the tank last emptied? That should be lifting semi clarified effluent from the bottom of the tank to assist with the treatment process, if its repeatedly blocking it sounds like there is foreign matter getting into an area where it shouldn't. ~

If memory serves me correctly the whole assemble should just lift out of the media, clean and reinstall.

Thanks for coming back to me - I really appreciate it.
Tank was emptied end May - there are usually just 2 of us in the house so just get it emptied once a year.
Will have a go at lifting it out and cleaning and see where I get to.
