It's probably too early to tell. But the Tories had an absolutely abysmal record on productivity. They offset this mainly by importing huge numbers of low wage migrants. Labour are trying to do the opposite. They are slashing immigration and increasing productivity. It makes sense to me.

How can you increase productivity by having a record number of people on out-of-work benefits, and a record number of sick days by those in work? And don't get me started on the "working from home" racket.
