Conservative general election candidate posted on social media saying benefit recipients, that were seen in a TV show, needed "putting down"."

I wonder if the Sun, Express, Mail etc. will now say that the Tory party hate welfare recipients and the UK would be a better place if they were all killed? Probably not, but if a labour member said similar, that would be the story they run with!

I guess, as Boris Johnson has not announced that this is not Tory policy, and not sacked her, then it must be something he and the rest of the part agrees with - this is based on the same logic the right wing press use to attack the Labour party.

Very much more recent than the story about a naked Diane Abbot which you circulated recently.

I know you like to rake up gossip items from the distant past. Maybe the story about a tory is too recent for you.

Happy to help.

Here's a nice picture for you, of Corbyn being dragged away after demonstrating against apartheid in 1984. Was this around the time you were enjoying South African hospitality?

The Torygraph headlined that people opposed to Apartheid were militants.

Some might disagree.

Hey Notch7, who brought Brexit into it? Anyway, now I have your attention, how about showing me where you got that quote you I alleged I made? You know, the one about "all black families being thieves"?

Back to the OP, and specifically the title of the thread, "No, she didn't".
She did however post that the people on the programme should be put down.

I thought is was Eastern Europeans that you singled out for your prejudice?
I don’t know, you tell me. Doesn’t matter if it’s true, just make it up - like Notchy did. Has he gone to ground again?

I have not seen the programme but I assume it's about people defrauding the benefit system? Should a tax dodger who dodgses more tax than these people get be put down also? So it's really an issue of money, what is the cut off point?

like you say, you haven't seen the programme. It was arguably reality tv meets poverty porn. It followed the lives of people living on a street in Birmingham who were largely on Benefits. It portrayed them rightly or wrongly in a very poor light. Many of the stories showed petty shoplifting, benefits fraud and gaming the system while being largely too thick/lazy to work. Nobody was shown being a valued member of society.

Its easy to forget that they are real people who were probably too thick to realise they were being exploited by a TV production company.

Any illegal activities should be dealt with accordingly, be it tax evasion or benefit fraud . It seems to me that Chanel's 4 & 5 are against minorities, I have been watching a series about fare dodgers and they seem to be predominantly targeting black/foreign people.
