Hi

I am claiming on my home insurance as my laminate flooring has risen in a couple of places due to a leak we had.

What sort of price would I be looking at to get somebody to take up the old laminate, level the floor underneath if needed, provide and lay new underlay and laminate?

The room is 3m x 6m

Quote away please. I live in Wrexham area :D

your insurance company will send an assessor out to value your floor for you and arrange replacement fitting.

sometime they will give you a check to go to a selected retailer, they still inspect first.

On very rare occasions they will tell you to get 2 or 3 written quotes.

Very hard to price as who knows what laminate you want or have now? 10quid a meter? 25 quid a meter?

also there are different underlays.

floor prep almost impossible to quote for without seeing it.

Skirtings? beading?

some where between 400 and 1200 at a wild guess?
