I have a tiled kitchen floor adjacent to a laminate-floor in my dining area. This has been 'down' for about 15years (?) and the plastic veneer on the joint strip has deteriorated, as has the grouting between tiles and laminate flooring sheets....looks really scruffy. Need to replace these. Am concerned that if I attempt removal of joint strips (5 off 1m), I will damage laminate floor edges. Any suggestions as to how I can safely remove strips without damaging edges of the laminate? Have so far talked myself out of any attempt to do the repairs! I'd be most grateful for any constructive suggestions. Regards. Gillcroft.
