Landline Query

Last year we got rid of our landline. One of the options when I upgraded our broadband meant no landline, not sure why because we haven't got full fibre because we still have a BT master socket which our router is plugged into. I never used it and Mrs only used it to phone her mum a couple of times a week. So we got rid of it which saved £17.99 a month.

My question is, if we wanted our landline back, what would be the chances of getting the same number as we had before?

Also are there better options like getting a digital phone service?

If your number hasn’t been reallocated you could ask your service provider if it’s possible.

Chances are a new line will be digital but again you need to ask the provider.
