Hi, anyone know what glue to use to stick this rubber piece back onto my laptop base? I tried to use fabric glue but it came off straight away!

Would appreciate any recommendations! Have attached a picture to make things clear

double sided tape is what I use when I've had to open up laptops. You can get the correct width of this on the likes of amazon.

Makes sense, they themselves added that and I peeled it off due to adhesive getting weak.

Would appreciate the text you would write on the search bar on amazon, thanks

*found some, would 1mm or 2mm be better? Bit in the middle of what size to get

Is that width or thickness? I would pressume the width would be more around 5mm that you need to fill the void and stick the rubber back down with. If its thickness then the thicker tape might give a slightly better bond as probably more contact area being made.
