laser level

It seems that the laser head rotates, so it will eventually give you a line all around the room, just not in one go. The major drawback with it is that it is not self-levelling, it requires you to level it manually with levelling vials that are accurate to 0.5mm/metre at best, and this assumes your eyesight is good. This means that you could be 4.5mm (or worse) out over one 9m run, and potentially therefore 9mm out by the time you get to the third point in the room. If you need to be super-accurate and this is too big a difference for your needs you'll need something much much more expensive (we're talking £1.5k or more). I'd recommend trying your local hire shop, hiring a really really good unit for a day would probably cost less than buying this budget one from Screwfix
