Latest immigration figures

whataboutery at its finest.
err no matey its a direct response to you trying to directly blame Labour for migrants leaving the French coast

You have no solution for it, other than repeated misinformation and falsehoods
Reform have zero solution just lies

No its a top priority for voters.

Costs billions.
so the bit of migration which accounts for 5% of total net immigration is hardly a "top priority"

its only being made a top priority because right wing populists like Farage are making its

oh and the scumbag right wing media

Costs billions.
If you are worried about the cost maybe you should be asking why a Conservative party donor is making so much money out of it.

if you are worried about the cost maybe you should be asking why Crispin Blunt once Tory MP was getting £15,000 for what?

of all the problems in this country, small boat crossings are way down the list

by the way Reform have no solution (bullsh1ttig and lies is not a solution)
Still a big problem and very worrying for some who live by the hotels I would think.

Its going to get worse with the policy of moving them out into rented accommodation into normal family homes on your street, guaranteeing landlords 5 years rent all maintainance paid no agents fees
It was on sercos website under the banner “calling all Landlords” - which has since been removed and replaced with this

More info on the move here

And all of this at the same time as many private landlords are reassessing their portfolios, citing growing concerns over the forthcoming Renters’ Rights Bill. (LABOUR) The legislation, is seen as contributing to a shrinking private rental sector, as more landlords choose to exit before additional regulations take hold.

So with this policy it really is a case that the boat people are taking away homes from UK nationals

They won't stop the gangs.

So they need to stop the boats getting in.

And round and round it goes ...

Yep, it's just one big pantomime to keep the current party in govenment, they hope for the full parliamentary term. Then it starts all over again after an election.

It's the old saying - if voting made any difference, they wouldn't let us do it.

It cant be that hard to monitor the French coastline where they launch from and slash the dingies on the beach. Seems the French do not want to do anything about as they are actually leaving France. Why would France want to do anything to prevent them leaving.

Two things I'll never understand -

A - Why can't they keep drugs out of prisons?

B - Why, especially with modern tech, can't they stop aliens arriving on an island?

It's just there's no political will to do either of these, despite the 'promises' at election time. Politicians = traitors.

I often wonder the same. Can it be done, and if so why don't the French do it.

Its what happens when there are no deterrents to discourage them.

Seems labour are now suggesting paying the French to turn them back. But surely it's illegal? Think about their human rights..

We are heading for 50,000+ this year - thats a lot of tax payers money being consumed due to a failure to "smash the gangs".
its only being made a top priority because right wing populists like Farage are making its
Voters repeatedly say otherwise.

These lot who think it isn't a problem are living in cloud cuckoo land me thinks.....

"A woman in her thirties who lives on a street across from the hotel spoke on condition of anonymity after run-ins with hotel residents that left her feeling “intimidated.”
“I have a tree at the end of the drive which has a pool of fag butts and we see residents from the hotel just walking past and flicking them in there as they walk past. We physically see hotel residents walk past our drive and throw rubbish down our drive. A couple of months ago, my other half saw a resident walk past and spit on our drive.”
“I have put the bins out on an evening, especially in the winter when it is dark and you get groups of men walking past saying ‘hello madame’ and it is really intimidating."
If there is evidence that residents of these hotels are involved in anti social behaviour, then the owners of these hotels should be hit with massive fines for not supervising the residents properly.
The hotel owners are being paid millions, so they should be liable for the behaviour of the residents and any locals who have had their property damaged should be paid compensation.
These asylum hotel owners are raking in millions for doing basically **** all, they then leave the residents to their own devices and local communities suffer.

One thing the uk needs to do is no entry unless you have medical insurance. Mabey they could also have a 15% tax on all these insurances that could go to the NHS.
I just got a letter from a doctor saying that your minor operation consultation will be approximately 43 weeks away. "That's just for a chat".
